As 2024 comes to an end, we at Griffith Law Office are taking a moment to look back on a year full of changes, challenges, and opportunities to make a difference for the families we work with. This year, our women-led, family-focused team worked hard to help clients navigate some of the toughest moments in their lives. From custody issues and divorces to child support and mediation, we’ve stood beside our clients, guiding them toward solutions that work for their families.
Highlights from 2024
1. Helping Families in Custody Cases
This year, we worked on cases involving custody changes, relocation disputes, and situations where parenting concerns, like alcohol use, came into play. By focusing on what’s best for the kids, we’ve been able to help parents build plans that keep their children safe and supported.
2. Walking Clients Through Divorce
Whether it was a fault-based or no-fault divorce, we’ve been there to explain the process and how factors like adultery or cruelty could affect outcomes like spousal support or dividing property. Divorce isn’t easy, but we’ve worked to make sure our clients feel heard and protected throughout the process.
3. Keeping Families Financially Stable
From dealing with child support to helping families understand spousal maintenance laws, we’ve focused on creating plans that keep families on steady ground financially.
4. Supporting Families During Mediation
Mediation continues to be a valuable way for families to work out their differences without going to court. We’ve shared advice about how preparation, an open mind, and putting the kids first can help families reach agreements that everyone can live with.
5. Understanding What Families Need
With the majority of our team members being working moms, we truly understand what families are dealing with. Our office culture reflects that balance between work and family, which helps us connect with our clients in a real way.
Looking Ahead to 2025
In 2025, we’re setting a new goal: to expand the resources we offer to families who are dealing with legal issues. Whether it’s through blog posts, videos, or speaking events, we want to share practical information that helps families feel more confident about navigating the legal process.
We’re also doubling down on our commitment to building a supportive work environment for our team. As a women-led office, we know how important it is to create space for work-life balance and to model that for others.
A Heartfelt Thank You
As we wrap up 2024, we’re grateful for the families who trusted us during some of their most difficult moments. You remind us why we do what we do and push us to keep working hard. As a women-led, family-centered office, it’s our privilege to serve families in East Texas, and we’re looking forward to continuing that work in 2025.
From all of us at Griffith Law Office, we hope you and your loved ones have a bright and peaceful New Year.
